At the 2024 Oscars, he was most definitely a “10.” Ryan Gosling’s performance of I’m Just Ken at the 96th Academy Awards, alongside Mark Ronson and other famous Kens, wowed audiences, made co-stars laugh, and got other A-list celebrities to join in.
After triumphing in his Ken role in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, Ryan went ahead to perform the popular song on the stage at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday (March 10).
Mark and company managed to get the 43-year-old actor and all the other Kens (including Simu Liu) from the film to perform on the Oscars stage, leaving the crowd and viewers in awe.
Seated behind Margot Robbie in the audience, who couldn’t contain her laughter, Ryan proceeded to make his way to the stage, accompanied by Mark on guitar and a group of backup dancers.

Even legendary Guns and Roses guitarist Slash partook in the grandiose show.
At one point, the Barbie star made his way back into the audience and held the microphone up to his Barbie cast and crew, including Greta, Margot, and America Ferrera, who were all singing along with him.
Ryan also got his La La Land co-star Emma Stone to sing along with him.
I’m Just Ken was one of two songs from Barbie that earned a nomination for best original song. Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For? was the other, ultimately winning the Oscar for the category.

Meanwhile, Ryan’s wife and the mother to their two daughters took to her Instagram page to express her love for him, writing “Always by my man,” in a video post of her standing next to Ryan’s Oscars dressing room sign.
In another photo post, Eva shared a snapshot of herself in a pink-studded blazer, black cowboy hat, and sunglasses, and she wrote in the caption: “You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG. Now come home, we need to put the kids to bed.”
