INGREDIENTS

Our supreme pizza cup recipe has eight ingredients, including canned biscuits, sausage, bell peppers, pepperoni, olives, cheese, onions, and pizza sauce. However, you can customize it to include fewer ingredients.

  • Canned Biscuits – We recommend regular-sized, flaky, or Southern-style biscuits.
  • Cheese – Shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Pepperoni – Both sliced or Old World will work.
  • Italian Sausage – We used mild Italian sausage in the casing.
  • Bell Peppers – Use green bell peppers for that classic supreme taste.
  • Olives – Sliced canned black olives.
  • Onions – We prefer red onions, but white or yellow will work too.
  • Pizza Sauce – Grab your favorite canned or jarred pizza sauce.

See the recipe card for quantities.

INSTRUCTIONS

Before starting with assembly, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and cook the sausage.

To make these pizza cups, put the raw biscuit dough into each muffin tin and press the dough around the sides to form a cup shape.

Toppings put on biscuit cups in muffin tin.

Then, after slicing and dicing the toppings, add them to the biscuit cup and bake at 350 degrees for 13-17 minutes until the crust is golden brown.

Hint: To remove the pizza cups easier, spray the muffin tins with oil before adding the biscuit dough.

VARIATIONS

There are so many tasty options to make your supreme pizza cups unique or to your liking. Remember, you can omit or add whatever your heart desires. Below are some other ideas for you to switch things up.

  • Vegetarian – skip the meat, add mushrooms, and go heavier on the olives and bell peppers.
  • Spicy – choose spicy sausage or pepperoni, sprinkle with red pepper flakes, or add jalapenos.
  • Meat Lovers – a personal favorite, add more meat toppings like bacon, ground beef, ham, or Canadian bacon.

STORAGE + REHEATING

Supreme pizza cups keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days when kept in a storage bag or container.

They can last up to 2 months in the freezer when stored properly. So, you can make many of them in advance and reheat them as needed. Just make sure they are cool before storing.

Reheat in the oven at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is gooey.

TOP TIP

While it’s tempting to add many toppings, it’s best not to overload them, especially with wet ingredients, to prevent them from becoming soggy.
